My voice is not clear. Both ears are deaf and I wear 2 hearing aids to help my hearing.
My voice is not clear. Both ears are deaf and I wear 2 hearing aids to help my hearing. I try to learn at CHA all the time. I try to listen so that I can speak more clearly. I want to be a tailor and I can practice this skill at CHA. It doesn’t matter that it is difficult to listen and speak.
When I was young, I had no hope of leaving. I just looked after my niece and nephew. When I grew up, I got an adoptive mother named Esme, who lives in England. She tried to help me to find my future, and so I came to CHA. It made my dreams come true.
I came to CHA in order to find my future and I want to live like a simple person. At CHA, they are helping me to have a good future, so I feel much better than when I lived in Sihanoukville.
CHA is the place where I can find my future, learn a skill, learn how to teach, and learn how to live in society. I have hope for my life in the future.
My hope gets stronger and stronger because I study my skills and I’m learning to live. I have never thought about when I will leave CHA.
I am not sure how long I will stay at CHA. It depends on my trust and confidence in myself and how well I learn my skills. Then I will find a job.
My adoptive mother in England encouraged me to come to CHA.
I like everything about CHA because CHA gives me a lot of experience and it helps me to find a better future.
I am very glad that I came to CHA. I met many polio victims who encouraged me to feel better about myself and I’m not lonely.
